A melt-in-your-mouth classic Chinese comfort dish accompanied by soft, steamed buns: a rich and delicious soul-warming meal.

Hong Shao Rou is a beloved staple of Chinese home cooking, using a fragrant base of soy sauce, ginger, and star anise to create a deep savoury flavour that is perfectly balanced when tucked into with a warm, fluffy steamed bun (Mantou) and rice. 

Come and get creative in the kitchen making our version of Hong Shao Rou and steamed buns. Taste your culinary creations or take home a portion for yourself if you would like (including any left-overs). (Don’t forget to bring an appropriate container with you and read the important info section on the front page).

All customers will receive a recipe card. All equipment, aprons, recipe card etc are provided.
